  We originally planned to commission an Oak Framed Garage and then, if the company was up to it commission the same company to do the Porch on our house. Time pressures got to us and as James Godden seemed to understand what was required (and the drawings he did matched our expectation) so we commissioned both from him at the same time.
  
  We have come to regret this - not only did the finished product not meet our original designs but there are lots of hidden costs and then when you complain he effectively walked off site without finishing the inside or the porch. So if you are planning to contract James Godden's Green Oak Structures my strong advice is to avoid them - there are better and cheaper people around.
